Understanding the VB-G RAM G Payment Timeline
Many workers are unsure about when they will actually receive money in their bank account after working on a site. The VB-G RAM G Payment Timeline Tracker visually explains the mandatory steps your wage goes through—from the day you start digging to the day the money hits your bank account.
The 5 Stages of Payment
- Work Started: The day you arrive at the site and your attendance starts being marked on the muster roll. (Muster rolls typically last for 6 to 14 days).
- Muster Closed: The work period ends, and the Gram Rozgar Sahayak (GRS) submits the attendance sheet to the block office for data entry.
- FTO Generated: The block office verifies the attendance and generates a Fund Transfer Order (FTO). This tells the government how much money to release.
- Payment Sent (PFMS): The FTO is processed by the Public Financial Management System, which routes the money to your Aadhaar-linked bank.
- Bank Credited: The money is successfully deposited. Under the law, this entire process from Muster Closed to Bank Credited must happen within 15 days.
